Hi, I'm Sharon Slimmen, owner of The Wooden Shoe, a quilt shop located near LaCrosse, Wisconsin. I have been in business for five years beginning in March of 1998. I belong to our local quilt guild, The LaCrosse Area Quilters. I have entered many quilts at our local quilt show every two years and national quilt shows. I have been teaching quilting classes for 14 years. Below are some highlights of the awards my quilts have won.
